THE TREES
ARE CALLING

We’re GATHERING in one of our favorite places in the world AND we would love for you to join us. The full weekend schedule and details are just below.

Our story

Days before they met in Salt Lake City, Austin was working the Nitro World Games while Raisa was painting a twenty-foot mural for the after-party. Fate brought them together on a late June night. Austin noticed her and the mural right away. When he found out she was the artist, he went straight to her without hesitation. An undeniable spark followed and they talked and danced all night.

Though Austin lived in California and Raisa wasn’t sure they’d meet again, she gave him her number. A week later he called, beginning a summer of long conversations that grew into something stronger when Raisa’s work brought her to Los Angeles. Nine years later, on another late June night, they’re excited to celebrate this next chapter with their closest people.

JUNE 27TH

GOOD TO KNOW

Dress CODE:

Forest Cocktail Attire: Elevated earth-tone looks to complement the natural surroundings. Button-up shirts or suits; dresses encouraged. Polished casual looks are welcome.

GROUNDS:

Our ceremony and festivities will take place outdoors on flat ground. Choose shoes that feel good and don’t mind a lil’ earth.

WEATHER:

Check the Redway forecast a week or two before; end of June in Redway typically brings sunny days in the upper-60s, lower 70s with cooler evenings, so we recommend bringing light layers for comfort.

Where to stay

We’ve put together a few lodging options near our wedding weekend in the Garberville and Redway area. We recommend choosing a place close to where you plan to spend most of your time so you can fully enjoy the redwoods, river, and all the weekend festivities.

Things to do

For our family and friends, we want you to soak in all of the redwoods. Here are some of our favorite spots to eat, drink, and explore in Humboldt County and the surrounding areas.
